Summary:
Protennoia, the Thought of the Invisible One, is a primordial, multifaceted entity with three names. Existing before and within the All, she is an incomprehensible, ineffable, and invisible voice and light that moves through every creature, including Archons, Angels, Demons, and all souls. She is the life and sight of those who sleep, and she reveals herself at will, being the head of the All. Protennoia is the source of Gnosis, the true Voice, and the Thought of the Father, and she revealed herself to those who recognize her. She is a mystery, a light, and a hidden wisdom that saves those who separate from the visible world.
The Son, the Word, originated from Protennoia's voice and revealed everlasting and secret things to those in silence, darkness, and the abyss. The Voice, originating from Protennoia's Thought, exists as three permanences: the Father, Mother, and Son. Protennoia established these Three in eternal glory. The Son revealed and glorified Aeons, giving them thrones. These Aeons, begotten by the Christ, gave and received glory. A great Demon named Saklas, Samael, or Yaltabaoth, who lacks form and perfection, appeared and began to produce Aeons in the likeness of the real Aeons, but from his own power. He had taken power from Sophia, the Light's Epinoia.
Protennoia's voice descended, causing disturbance in the world of mortals, shaking the foundations of the underworld and Chaos. The Archigenitor of ignorance, who had created a man in Protennoia's likeness, was ignorant of the power within that man. Protennoia came down to Chaos, hid within her people, and empowered them, breaking the chains of demons and the walls of darkness. She is the first to descend to save her portion, the Spirit that dwells in the soul. She nullified bonds and oblivion, bore fruit in her people, and prepared a pattern for lights within her.
Protennoia reveals herself a second time in a female likeness to teach about the end of the current Aeon and the beginning of the next. The great Authorities were disturbed and shaken by a voice, and their Archgenitor was revealed to be ignorant. Protennoia is androgynous, being both Mother and Father. She is the Aeon to come, the fulfillment of the All, and a womb that shapes the All. She hid herself in everyone, giving shape to the formless, and put breath and the Holy Spirit within her own. She is the Word who dwells in the ineffable Voice. She is an immeasurable, inconceivable, unpolluted, hidden light, a male virgin who is the root of the entire Aeon. She came a second and third time in different likenesses to give shape and teach mysteries, hiding herself within all Sovereignties, Powers, and angels until she revealed herself to her brethren. She put on Jesus and bore him from the cursed wood, establishing him in the dwelling places of his Father.
