Allah's answers to prayers are not uniform - they can be immediate or significantly delayed or not answered at all.
Timing is governed by a divine plan that often transcends human understanding.
Birth of a daughter to the wife of Imran (Asked for a Boy) - "Allah knew better what she delivered,".
Qabool hasan ("a beautiful acceptance"). Despite her initial feelings, the mother of Maryam demonstrated sincere faith by naming her child and seeking refuge in Allah for her and her descendants and divine acceptance manifested in Maryam's exceptionally virtuous upbringing and her being provided with miraculous provisions (rizq) directly from Allah, which the Prophet Zakariyya witnessed in her prayer chamber (mihrab).
The Anguish of Maryam: During the immense pain of childbirth, alone in the desert, Maryam cried out, "Ya laytani mittu qabla hadha" ("Oh, I wish I had died before this")
Immediate vs delayed answers to supplications
1.Infant son, Musa, in a basket and cast him into the river.
2. Prophet Yaqub (Jacob) was separated from his beloved son, Yusuf (Joseph), for decades. Yusuf was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery in Egypt, and wrongfully imprisoned.
Yaqub's grief was so deep and prolonged that his other sons, witnessing his constant remembrance of Yusuf, dismissed his pain, saying he was lost in his "old delusion."
An immediate answer is a form of mercy and reassurance, while a delayed answer often serves a grander, unseen purpose that requires immense patience and unwavering trust from the believer.

[There is no 1:1 guarantee between dua and fulfillment. Correlation might exist, but unpredictable, He is Sovereign and He is the Samad]
[Timing can be immediate, late, very late or never. You do your part. He will decide. He is Wise, All Hearing and Listening]
[Prophets themself cannot achieve 1:1 correlations between dua and fulfillment. Messengers of Allah are Man, they are not a protector/manager over you people, but a Clear Warner]
[What happens, happens by the will of Allah. If it goes in favor of you, because made dua and worked for it, as instructed in Quran. If you dont want it, and things happens to you, do not curse Allah because Sabr is the virtue of the Winners. Say both Boon and Difficulty is from Allah, and we have faith]
